Design is about connotation, denotation, communication, language, aesthetics, problem-solving, critical analysis, research, conceptual development, appropriateness. It is one of the few disciplines whose knowledge translates to just about any other discipline, but does in fact exist autonomously. Art and Design are essential to culture and society; where there is difference is in implementation.
